Hi, everyone!
In this entry I’m going to tell you about the best holiday I’ve
ever had :D
I went to Salta, an Argentinian city when I was 12 years
old. We were like 8 people in that journey. There was my mom, my aunt, the family of two friends of my mom, and myself.
We traveled in bus and we stayed in a hostel. The travel and
the accommodation were bought with a family package on the travel agency, so it was
in our budget.
I remember that the hostel was near a park, with a little lake
and a lot of families went to it. Also, from the hostel, you could walk about 10 blocks and reach the city
center. In the way, we sometimes stopped
in a little coffe shop, and I loved asking for “submarinos” in breakfast. A submarino is a glass full of homemade chocolate milk
with pieces of bitter chocolate in the bottom.
One night we went to a restaurant, but I just remember the
Boleadores Show, not what we ate!
Another thing we did was go by bus to San Lorenzo, where is
a hydric reserve in the farm Las Costas. It had a lot of trees and birds; I’m not use to see a hill with all that thickness,
but I love it. We walk along one part of
the river, it was very clear and clean, then we lunch and finally wait for the
bus pick us up.
Perhaps on of the memories more crisp of that trip was the
cable car ride, when we’re going to the San Bernardo hill. I had never been in one and it was very exciting!
And the sight was very beautiful, because we did that trip in the afternoon.
That’s all for today, see you later!

ResponderEliminarHello Kasia! I have a question for u, when you said "we sometimes stopped in a little coffe shop", Is that "sometimes" in the right place? i think that maybe it could be at the beginning but im not very sure actually. Also, there is a "I love it" that i believe that should be "I loved it". Other than that Did you want to say "Perhaps one of the memories...." right?
ResponderEliminarI hope I've helped you. See you soon!
yeah it was "perhaps one" and "loved"xD I was hungry and ate a letter.
EliminarBu the part with the sometimes...well, maybe you're right with the order, I have to say that I wrote that sentence thinking in spanish..so...I don't know :/
Anyway, thanks for the observations! :D
Kasia,
ResponderEliminarWC: 300. Excellent!
A pleasure to read about childhood memories, it'd be nice if you could keep your memories of trips and family holidays for ever.
I did like your writing, but it seems that all of a sudden you lost focus and forgot you were narrating a past event so you needed verbs in the past. Please check:
We traveled BY bus and we stayed in a hostel.
... (In) ON the way, … a little coffeE shop, … “submarinos” FOR (in) AT breakfast TIME
